Halcyon’s Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC) Climate Fellowship brings together founders from across the LAC region, empowering them to address climate challenges.
Treevia
Treevia provides IoT-enabled continuous forest biometrics and carbon accounting for small-to-midsize plantation owners across Latin America. Its wireless dendrometers and SmartForest analytics platform deliver daily growth, biomass, and fire-risk insights, replacing annual clipboard inventories with real-time data that meets FSC audits and carbon-credit standards, cutting monitoring costs and boosting yield decisions.
CeluNova
CeluNova creates sustainable raw materials from pineapple waste. They offer cellulose for the creation of ecological diapers and bioplastics, and pineapple starch to create the next generation of bricks. They are the first suppliers in the Americas of pineapple cellulose and starch to promote a regenerative economy in LATAM.

Solestructuras
Solestructuras enables solar adoption in buildings with structural limitations by offering lightweight, flexible photovoltaic solutions. Its flagship product, Solarflex, eliminates the need for costly civil works and adapts to diverse surfaces—including rooftops, façades, and rural infrastructure—making clean energy accessible to companies, installers, and underserved communities across Latin America.
Polus
Polus provides intelligent automation and control solutions for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Their IoT system monitors and optimizes refrigeration equipment performance, reducing energy consumption and product losses. Serving supermarkets, food retailers, and industrial facilities, Polus aims to transform refrigeration management for sustainability and cost savings.
SEOS Energy
SEOS is democratizing the ownership of energy in LATAM by creating a finance and technology platform that puts the consumption and production of energy in the hands of individuals, communities and micro-businesses, enabling a just energy transition for all.
Through the platform and the SEOS Ecosystem, SEOS provides flexible solar loans to end users, a suite of financing products and technology tools to installers, and provides capital providers with reliable investment opportunities in the growing climate sector.
Raks Agricultural Technology
Raks Agricultural Technology provides irrigation management for farmers, integrating soil, plant, climate, and irrigation method data. Their proprietary high-precision soil moisture sensors are recognized as a Top 5 soil sensor globally, the only one from the Americas. The technology optimizes irrigation timing and amounts, saving water and electricity while increasing productivity.
Vexxel
Vexxel develops smart biocapsules that provide stability to active compounds, aiming to reduce or eliminate chemicals in the industry. Made from fungi with integrated sensors for precise compound release, Vexxel seeks to transform the food production chain, from post-harvest crop protection to food manufacturing.
Beeok
Beeok is a sustainability management platform that helps companies measure, reduce, and report their carbon footprint. Designed for SMB and Corporates, it combines local regulatory compliance with AI-driven tools to support environmental, social, and legal standards. Beeok enables organizations to develop decarbonization plans, monitor progress, and engage stakeholders—making sustainability measurable, actionable, and accessible for businesses of all sizes.

2023 Program
This fellowship was designed for entrepreneurs building climate resilience to combat the compounding effects of climate change on poverty, food insecurity, health disparities, and displacement. This hybrid program featured three virtual meetings, a one week in-person residency at Halcyon and a one week in-person residency in Mexico City.
2024 Program
The program brought together founders from across Latin America & the Caribbean, empowering them to address climate challenges through Renewable Energy, Green Building, Climate Data, Agriculture, WaterTech, Blue Economy solutions, and more. Founders gained expert training, critical resources to accelerate their ventures, a one-week in-person residency in Washington, DC, and a one-week in-person residency in Mexico City, Mexico.
2025 Program
This fellowship empowered entrepreneurs across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) addressing climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. Founders gained expert training, critical resources to accelerate their ventures, and one-week, in-person residencies in Mexico City, Mexico and Bogotá, Colombia.
