Mohamed Kamara
Mohamed Kamara is a born Sierra Leonean who is a servant leader and an advocate for the medically underserved living in Opportunity Zones. The health system fails more than 500,000 women ages 15-49 each year, who die from pregnancy-related complications; 2/3 of those deaths are preventable. His awakening to this brutal reality came when his sister and aunt died of preeclampsia, a preventable hypertensive disorder. InovCares was born from a personal tragedy and a commitment to improving the lives of mothers everywhere.
