Musa Mishamo
Born and raised in a rural farming community in Tanzania to Tanzanian parents, Musa Mishamo dreamed of becoming an aerospace engineer. When that program was unavailable locally, he pursued Agricultural Engineering, later merging his passion for space with farming. Today, he combines satellite technology and agricultural engineering to tackle real challenges facing Tanzanian farmers.
Motivated to modernize indigenous farming practices and address climate change impacts, Musa founded Rada 360, a space-tech company that leverages satellite data and precision agriculture to enhance productivity and sustainability. With over nine years of experience in precision agriculture and satellite navigation technologies, he has worked with global leaders such as Trimble Inc. (USA) and Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon (Switzerland). He also serves as the Eastern Africa Representative at the African Association for Precision Agriculture (AAPA), building strong technical expertise and leading a dedicated team committed to transforming agriculture across Tanzania and Africa through space-based solutions.
