Raised by a serial entrepreneur father and a fierce global health advocate mother, McCall Brinskele was instilled with a drive to solve the problems others overlook. At Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she earned both a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Management, those problems turned personal. When she and her family spent years searching for answers to debilitating undiagnosed conditions, that pain became a purpose. McCall channeled her training into building what did not exist: a faster, more accessible path to diagnosis and treatment of women’s health conditions. As Founder and CEO of Cove, she has led the company from a graduate research concept to a patented medical device platform with active paid pilots in diagnostics and regenerative medicine. She also teaches entrepreneurship and women’s health at Cal Poly, where it all began. In her team’s hands, what was once overlooked is becoming the foundation of a new era in women’s health diagnostics.
