Luis Pierpauli
Born and raised in Argentina, Luis Pierpauli earned his MD before building a career at the intersection of healthcare, biotechnology, and entrepreneurship. After working at McKinsey on life sciences and healthcare innovation, he founded Gisens Biotech to develop science-driven solutions with the potential to improve health outcomes and expand access to innovation. Under his leadership, Gisens won the MIT $100K LatAm Competition and was selected for leading startup programs including Berkeley SkyDeck and Techstars. Luis is also active in the broader entrepreneurship ecosystem as a two-time judge and mentor at MassChallenge and a mentor for Startup World Cup. His work is driven by the belief that rigorous science, strong execution, and global collaboration can turn breakthrough ideas into ventures with meaningful impact.
