Daniel Misael Garza García

Daniel Misael Garza García is an entrepreneur from Monterrey focused on applied agrobiotechnology through microalgae. Born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, he is currently pursuing his PhD at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), where he conducts research on the expression of recombinant proteins in microalgae with applications in the livestock sector. He has oriented his career toward creating sustainable solutions for the agri-food sector, integrating applied science with environmental impact.

He is the Co-Founder of Gexus, a company dedicated to the development of cutting-edge biotechnological inputs for the regeneration of degraded agricultural soils, the physiological strengthening of crops, and the optimization of their productivity. His approach stands out for the use of microalgae as an efficient alternative that requires no fertile land and captures CO₂. He has been recognized by MIT-linked initiatives and has represented Mexico on international stages. His vision centers on transforming agricultural models to be more resilient, regenerative, and technologically advanced.
