A two-time founder with more than 25 years of experience in education technology, Brian Carlson is the CEO and Co‑Founder of Storytime AI. Brian’s career in education began as a teacher in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu, where he witnessed firsthand the impact of limited access to inclusive learning materials—an experience that continues to shape his work today. Prior to Storytime AI, Brian co‑founded and led eThink Education (now Open LMS), growing it into the world’s largest Moodle provider before its acquisition by Learning Technologies Group in 2020. He has also consulted for Ellucian and actively advises EdTech, AI, and social impact startups focused on expanding access to education globally.
