Ancel Bhagwandeen is Caribbean based and of East Indian heritage. Growing up reading inventor based storybooks such as the Tom Swift series, electronics became his interest as a child, and repairing scarce electric toys became his hobby. As a 9-year-old, using broken toys to make new electric toys became his first efforts at invention, and as a 12-year-old, he built a working AM radio.

Now, as an experienced engineer qualified by M.I.T. in electronics design and globally recognized as a trailblazer and changemaker in the field, developing sustainable and scalable technologies has become Ancel’s passion. His two recent World IPO awards are a testament to this effort.
