Impact Venture Sourcing Internship

Halcyon is offering an exciting internship opportunity for academic credit, providing undergraduate and graduate students with valuable hands-on experience that complements their academic development. Candidates must be able to receive college credit for their internship experience to be eligible.

Why Intern at Halcyon

Get firsthand venture lead generation experience working with the Sourcing and Selections team at Halcyon! As Halcyon’s Summer 2026 Venture Sourcing Intern, you’ll engage with startup and ecosystem leaders in Health, Climate, and EquityTech, where you’ll research the most innovative and impactful early-stage startups worldwide. This unique position offers the chance to contribute to finding transformative ventures that can grow even further with Halcyon’s support. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment where your work will directly influence transformative global initiatives.

Position Summary

  • Support Halcyon’s Sourcing & Selections department, with a focus on researching, analyzing, and recommending startups for Halcyon’s programs.
  • Coordinate with all Programs teams to learn the main criteria of the ideal startup and founder profile for Halcyon’s programs.
  • Manage and populate the venture sourcing database with new startup recommendations.
  • Learn to better analyze business model viability and scalability potential of startups.
  • This is a part-time (20 hours per week), in-person role that will run during the summer from June–August.

Experience Required/Preferred

  • Experience identifying, sourcing, or building a pipeline of profiles or opportunities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Pursuing a business degree or a related field.
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up environment.
  • Interest in the startup ecosystem.
  • Basic research abilities.

 

Special Considerations:

• You must be able to receive college credit for your internship experience to be eligible.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings to assist with programs and events.

  • Excellent written skills including grammar and punctuation.
  • Proven ability to communicate articulately and creatively including identifying and recommending solutions to problems.
