Camila Olivera
Camila Olivera is an environmental engineer with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and a lifelong drive to tackle big challenges. Raised near rivers in Argentina, she became deeply aware of the environmental damage caused by industrial pollution, which sparked her passion for clean technologies. Her academic journey led her to specialize in bioremediation, combining biotechnology and environmental engineering to develop impactful solutions. A former open-water swimmer, Camila brings resilience and determination to everything she does. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of NotFossil, a startup using specialized microbial consortia and modular biofilters to treat wastewater from the oil and gas sector. Through science and entrepreneurship, she is leading a company committed to reducing pollution and making industry more sustainable.
