Mohamed Amir is the CEO and founder of Hnakoum platform, an Algerian-labeled startup. In 2020, Mohamed founded Hnakoum, an eco-friendly e-commerce platform that allows small farmers and artisans to sell their natural, healthy products through a sustainable process. Previously, Mohamed had a strong IT experience working with multinationals in pharmaceuticals, logistics, and banking. Mohamed is active socially, as he founded in 2009 a group of volunteers working to reduce poverty in Algeria, and co-founded Torba Association to promote agroecology and sustainability. He has a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Algiers University.
