Born and raised in Germany, Gabriele “Gabi” Niederauer developed an early passion for science, innovation, and entrepreneurship. After earning her PhD in Biomedical Engineering and building a career spanning more than 30 years in medical devices, she went on to found and lead multiple successful healthcare companies, achieving four exits. Driven by a desire to improve patients’ lives through technology, Gabi co-founded Freyya, a company transforming pelvic floor rehabilitation with innovative wearable technology. Beyond her entrepreneurial work, she is a dedicated mentor, board leader, and advocate for advancing women’s health and supporting the next generation of innovators.
