Born and raised in rural India, Samhita learned to make the most of limitations from a young age. With a sense of urgency to prepare for climate shocks and a belief in systemic solutions, Samhita started Resilience AI by leveraging her lived experience and the practices of science, finance, and technology after serving on the Board of SEEDS India supporting frontline disaster response. With more than two decades of experience in enabling large-scale transformation at Honeywell, EY, and Microsoft, she designed the wireframe of Resilience360, a decision system that uses AI, ML, and multiple sciences in a simple and dynamic manner to prepare both government and business operators agnostic of settlement and size for the events that are coming. Her mission is to prepare for today’s emergencies and tomorrow’s losses with measurable impact.
