Born and raised in Uganda, Michael Akampa developed an early understanding of how limited access to capital constrains communities and economic growth. He later built a career across finance, venture building, and real estate, including co-founding and exiting a Nordic real estate platform that scaled to a multi-billion SEK portfolio.

He is now the Co-Founder of Nobon, a Swedish FinTech company building infrastructure for private capital formation, enabling climate and real-world asset projects to become investment-ready and connect with global investors. Through Nobon, he focuses on transforming fragmented climate financing into structured, scalable investment environments that unlock capital for high-impact projects.
