Brayon Michael Pieske
Born and raised in Santa Catarina, Brazil, Brayon Pieske has spent over a decade building accessible digital tools for communities that traditional technology has overlooked, starting with a flood alert system for local communities at age 16. With a background in Information Technology and a deep focus on field-based software, he founded Trust Carbon Infrastructure to solve a problem he saw firsthand: small farmers and local communities had no affordable way to participate in global carbon markets. The platform transforms any smartphone into a carbon verification instrument, working 100% offline in 17 languages, guided step-by-step, requiring no technical knowledge. Selected as one of five global winners of the DPI Innovation Challenge among 540 startups from 73 countries, Trust Carbon received a $100,000 prize recognized by the Gates Foundation, Boston Consulting Group, and Japan International Cooperation Agency.
