Umi Hanik

Umi Hanik is the Founder and CEO of MONEV Studio Global, a climate intelligence and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) ecosystem builder focused on strengthening evidence-based decision-making in climate-vulnerable contexts. With nearly two decades of experience across government, development agencies, and international organizations, she has led 78 evaluation and research projects spanning climate resilience, poverty reduction, infrastructure, and public service systems.

She has worked with partners including the World Bank, ADB, and UN agencies, designing data systems and evaluation frameworks that translate complex data into actionable policy and investment decisions. Umi also leads the development of GeoNature, a climate and environmental intelligence platform that integrates geospatial data, risk modeling, and real-time analytics to support urban resilience and climate adaptation planning.

She holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Development Evaluation & Management from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Her work focuses on bridging data, policy, and technology to drive scalable, climate-resilient development across the Global South.
