Faith Kuya
Faith Kuya is the Lead Founder and CEO of SafeSip, a Tanzanian social enterprise closing the climate adaptation gap through solar-powered water infrastructure. With over 10 years of experience in social entrepreneurship, Faith has successfully navigated the complex financing landscape of the climate sector, securing support from the World Bank, FAO, and the Tony Elumelu Foundation. A WE Empower UN SDG Challenge Global Finalist and World Bank Youth Aquapreneur, she has scaled the venture to achieve a 76% monthly customer retention rate by providing water at a disruptive price of $0.005 per liter, over 80% cheaper than local alternatives. Her leadership earned SafeSip the Gold Award at the Global AgriInno Challenge and recognition as a featured startup at VivaTech 2025. Faith is dedicated to transforming water security into a scalable asset class for the 18.4 million rural Tanzanians currently navigating the climate crisis.
