Erick Mwandu

Erick Mathayo Mwandu is the Co-Founder and Digital Agriculture Specialist of Rada 360, a Tanzanian space-technology company using satellite intelligence to improve agricultural productivity and resilience. Born and raised in a rural farming community, Erick witnessed firsthand the effects of climate change, soil degradation, and limited access to agronomic knowledge on smallholder farmers. This motivated Erick to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy, graduating with distinction. Erick specializes in combining satellite data, soil science, and precision agriculture to deliver practical, data-driven solutions for farmers. Erick has worked with smallholder farmers, large-scale farmers, research institutions, and government partners across Tanzania to advance climate-smart agriculture. His work focuses on making space-based technologies accessible and empowering farmers to build more sustainable and resilient agricultural systems across Africa.
