Alena Kharissova brings rigorous scientific training and a proven track record in sustainable materials innovation. She earned her Master’s degree in Sustainable Chemical Processes from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and is currently completing her PhD at UANL. At Mighty Buildings, she spent four years driving materials innovation, developing next-generation composite formulations with 35% better structural properties and 50% less carbon footprint. Then, as Sustainability Lead, she established company-wide sustainability practices. As Thrasos 3D’s Founder and CTO, Alena leads R&D on ceramic substrates and antifouling coatings for marine restoration, directly advancing the company’s core technology.
